The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rory Whittington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob Shipley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Whittington in the 7th minute of play. Bob Shipley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Walter Sweeney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Rushing having to interfere. Connor Rushing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Ruiz in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of MARBLE SYSTEMS booed when WPB Gators FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Ivey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Whittington took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Shipley. Bob Shipley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bob Shipley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bob Shipley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Whittington in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, MARBLE SYSTEMS's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Whittington came free, but Bob Shipley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariah Fitzpatrick hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bob Shipley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Friedman in the 27th minute of play. In the 46th minute, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Zachariah Fitzpatrick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrus Friedman made a kick off. Elvis Negron got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bernardo Miranda. With a little luck, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bob Shipley got control of the ball when Cyrus Friedman tried to sneak it across the goal line.
