Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Miami Gators's Merrill Justice started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giovanni Doe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milo Winn in the 3rd minute. Jacob Knapp hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Shelton Brower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miami Gators's Owen Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelton Brower in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Shelton Brower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Georgia State booed when Miami Gators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Cartwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parker Baron in the 22nd minute of play. Owen Baker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Tyler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miami Gators's Owen Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roosevelt Riggs in the 25th minute of play. Roosevelt Riggs hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Owen Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆星镇, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, 陆星镇 notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Miami Gators's Owen Baker. Owen Baker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Miami Gators defense, Shelton Brower kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Owen Baker. The Miami Gators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Owen Baker should have stopped the shot.

Owen Baker didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 61st minute, Roosevelt Riggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parker Baron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Baker having to interfere. Merrill Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Doe having to interfere. If Merrill Justice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Harman kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes in the game, Shelton Brower fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Owen Baker having to interfere. Roosevelt Riggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milo Winn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Giovanni Doe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Saul Bean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Georgia State and the Miami Gators players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saul Bean hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Owen Baker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roosevelt Riggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Georgia State fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Georgia State played a much better game than Miami Gators and deserved their victory. The Miami Gators players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
