Cesar Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milo Winn in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Andreas Squires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miami Gators and the Kuqezi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miami Gators! 28 minutes into the game, one of Miami Gators:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st match minute, Kuqezi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walker Poole to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Kuqezi's Scot McNair dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. With a little luck, Miami Gators's Owen Baker got control of the ball when Sol Roberson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scot McNair in the 37th minute of play forced Miami Gators's goalkeeper Owen Baker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Kuqezi got a corner. Miami Gators's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Sito ran over to the corner to take the kick. 41 minutes into the match, Miami Gators's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Roberson came free, but Owen Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Owen Baker stood somewhat misplaced when Sol Roberson came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 42 minute. Miami Gators's Owen Baker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Miami Gators from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sol Roberson to make the kick off. If Sol Roberson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Miami Gators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Harding to maneuver through the defense. Miami Gators's Owen Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Roberson in the 67th minute of play. Sol Roberson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Scot McNair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Owen Baker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Roberson in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sol Roberson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuqezi's supporters rose to their feet, but Sol Roberson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Owen Baker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scot McNair might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Owen Baker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Scot McNair ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Scot McNair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kuqezi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Miami Gators's zone, Scot McNair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Owen Baker came out of the goal and Scot McNair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Sol Roberson sped through Miami Gators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Owen Baker. If Sol Roberson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
