In the 8th match minute, Long Is Land FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan De La Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes JYJ3 FC got a freekick which was hit by Don Holland. Noah Shea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denny Coppack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ted Muller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Colby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Muller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Houston Shah scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Colby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Colby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Holland in the 26th minute of the match. Juan Colby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Houston Shah in the 27th minute of play. Juan Colby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Egan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half JYJ3 FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Muller made a kick off. 54 minutes in the game Winford Crawford did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuel Burns. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Egan in the 59th minute of play forced Long Is Land FC's goalkeeper Juan Colby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Holland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan Colby firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juan Colby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Houston Shah, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Wiley Kinsey hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Long Is Land FC's goalkeeper Juan Colby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Don Holland.
