Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walter Hawley started the match with the kick off. The JYJ3 FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when JYJ3 FC's Bart Egan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shelby Kirkland's late challenge caught a JYJ3 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shelby Kirkland helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's goal looked a bit too open when Don Holland came free, but Duane Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duane Carbajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Holland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Marshall Stoner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawgrass's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Stoner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Coppack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Marshall Stoner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denny Coppack was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Walter Hawleys short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Denny Coppack to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Muller came free, but Duane Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sawgrass defense, Bart Egan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duane Carbajal. The Sawgrass fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duane Carbajal should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sawgrass booed when JYJ3 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Egan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Houston Shah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marshall Stoner in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denny Coppack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ted Muller succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Walter Hawley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half JYJ3 FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ted Muller to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal got control of the ball when Bart Egan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denny Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Stoner in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marshall Stoner during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sawgrass getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marshall Stoner hit a great ball. Duane Carbajal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart Egan in the 65th minute. Don Holland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Sawgrass from getting a goal against them. Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Muller in the 73rd minute of play. The Sawgrass fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Sawgrass's Marshall Stoner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 played minutes JYJ3 FC got a freekick which was hit by Houston Shah. After 80 played minutes Sawgrass got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Hickman. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Walter Hawley put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Denny Coppack. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Houston Shah during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Houston Shah hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The JYJ3 FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JYJ3 FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
