When Ralph Whitley fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirzato United's protests and gave Ralph Whitley a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Green Mountain Boys booed when Sirzato United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sirzato United's Federico Ortiz got control of the ball when Bobby Moyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sirzato United's Jarod Shoemaker in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Mountain Boys's goalie prevented a goal. Robby Hardin's late challenge caught a Sirzato United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robby Hardin helped the player get up and apologised. 16 minutes into the match, Green Mountain Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jarod Shoemaker came free, but Shawn Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Watt in the 20th minute of play forced Green Mountain Boys's goalkeeper Shawn Flanagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Sirzato United got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Baron. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarod Shoemaker in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Flanagan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shawn Flanagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Enriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bobby Moyer sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Green Mountain Boys's Bobby Moyer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glen Enriquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Glen Enriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Flanagan having to interfere. Federico Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Winslow, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Emilio Jarvis made a precise shot to the right of Federico Ortiz. Sirzato United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Guy Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Federico Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Winslow, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Sirzato United's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Moyer came free, but Federico Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Green Mountain Boys's Shawn Flanagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Green Mountain Boys from getting a goal against them. Federico Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Youngblood in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Green Mountain Boys's zone, Garrett Turner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Flanagan came out of the goal and Garrett Turner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes, Vernon Baron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirzato United and the Green Mountain Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sirzato United getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vernon Baron hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarod Shoemaker got free with Shawn Flanagan in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scott Dooley kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A hard shot 83 in the game by Jarod Shoemaker from a close distance when the talented Shawn Flanagan managed to make a qualified save. Green Mountain Boys's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Winslow in the 86th minute of play forced Sirzato United's goalkeeper Federico Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Garrett Turner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shawn Flanagan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glen Enriquez's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When Bobby Moyer came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Green Mountain Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bobby Moyer couldn't finish the play. Garrett Turner's late challenge caught a Green Mountain Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garrett Turner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Garrett Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sirzato United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Green Mountain Boys.
