The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phillip Barry hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. George Yost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Alfonso Mejia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Oikonomopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aidan Stover made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jorge Gifford sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Ahmet Hafiz Kayan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Oikonomopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hafiz Kayan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Takis Oikonomopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Bradford were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leland Wiggins made the kick off in the second half. Takis Oikonomopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Yost in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Bradford booed when Messi Daily Racing Form was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Takis Oikonomopoulos came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Bradford's George Yost. But to his dismay, George Yost quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, George Yost notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Messi Daily Racing Form's Takis Oikonomopoulos. Takis Oikonomopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, George Yost recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Takis Oikonomopoulos. George Yost showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 81st match minute, Messi Daily Racing Form was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Sutherland to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Thaddeus Sutherland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aidan Stover skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, one of Bradford:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bradford. When the match was over Bradford could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Messi Daily Racing Form throughout the match.
