The audience was convinced that Antony Hinwood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shawn Flanagan was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

After 57 minutes, Kerry Holt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Mountain Boys and the Berwyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Green Mountain Boys! A hard shot 63 in the game by Antony Hinwood from a close distance when the talented Shawn Flanagan managed to make a qualified save. Green Mountain Boys's players were relieved. In the 70th minute, one of Berwyn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berwyn. Kerry Holt shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Green Mountain Boys's Shawn Flanagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Green Mountain Boys from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Berwyn's Joesph Browne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Flanagan. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. Antony Hinwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Shawn Flanagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Berwyn's Joesph Browne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Flanagan. That made the score 0-4 after 91 minutes of play. After 96th play minutes Joesph Browne shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Shawn Flanagan and just under the crossbar into goal. Noel Winslow hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Berwyn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Green Mountain Boys.
