After a rather tough play, Matthorias FC's Jarvis Zamora got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Belmiro Palermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leland Wiggins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Taylor Hendrix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Leland Wiggins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Palermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Matthorias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Mosher to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bradford booed when Matthorias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Otto Mosher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matthorias FC and the Bradford players grew even worse after the yellow card. George Yost struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Belmiro Palermo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford. 12 minutes into the match, Leland Wiggins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belmiro Palermo. Matthorias FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leland Wiggins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Matthorias FC booed when Bradford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Collin Wilkes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bradford's Aidan Stover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarvis Zamora in the 17th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Leland Wiggins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belmiro Palermo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hafiz Kayan in the 22nd minute of the match. Mason Finch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Aidan Stover made a huge save. After 29 minutes, George Yost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bradford and the Matthorias FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Bradford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Yost to maneuver through the defense. Aidan Stover was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarvis Zamora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Belmiro Palermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Wiggins in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Ahmet Hafiz Kayan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Palermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Palermo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Yost, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Bradford were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarvis Zamora to make the kick off. Leland Wiggins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Belmiro Palermo made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Leland Wiggins notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo. Belmiro Palermo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 59 minutes, Jarvis Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matthorias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Zamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Yost in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Matthorias FC's Markus Gallardo got a free kick in the 67th minute. During the 69th minute of the match Otto Mosher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Otto Mosher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Matthorias FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Otto Mosher hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Matthorias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taylor Hendrix to maneuver through the defense. Leland Wiggins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Matthorias FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo got control of the ball when Leland Wiggins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leland Wiggins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belmiro Palermo came out and tried to block the shot, but Leland Wiggins slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 78th minute. If Leland Wiggins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradford's Leland Wiggins got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bradford's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
