Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarvis Zamora started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarvis Zamora got free with Shawn Flanagan in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jarvis Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes of play, Matthorias FC's Jarvis Zamora made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shawn Flanagan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 12 minutes, Jarvis Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matthorias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Zamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthorias FC's Belmiro Palermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Moyer in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Green Mountain Boys's Owen Redding got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jarvis Zamoras short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Shawn Flanagan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Winslow in the 21st minute of play forced Matthorias FC's goalkeeper Belmiro Palermo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Green Mountain Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Nichols came free, but Shawn Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Green Mountain Boys's Shawn Flanagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Green Mountain Boys from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Green Mountain Boys booed when Matthorias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Mosher's late challenge caught a Green Mountain Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otto Mosher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Matthorias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Mosher to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Palermo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Winslow's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Otto Mosher kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jarvis Zamora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shawn Flanagan having to make a save. Matthorias FC's Jarvis Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mason Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Noel Winslow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belmiro Palermo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kerry Holt hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bobby Moyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Belmiro Palermo made a huge save. Shawn Flanagan came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Matthorias FC's Sidney Nichols. But to his dismay, Sidney Nichols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jarvis Zamora might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shawn Flanagan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarvis Zamora ran back to his position shaking his head. Shawn Flanagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarvis Zamora in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shawn Flanagan saved Green Mountain Boys from getting behind. 74 minutes in the game, Bobby Moyer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Belmiro Palermo having to interfere. Belmiro Palermo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Winslow, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scot Cisneros during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Green Mountain Boys booed when Matthorias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scot Cisneros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shawn Flanagan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Matthorias FC's Otto Mosher. But to his dismay, Otto Mosher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Bobby Moyer took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Palermo. Belmiro Palermo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Matthorias FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
