Peter Björnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Nordkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Alaska Anchorage FC got a corner. Colorado FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Houston Guy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Edson Dias advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 13th minute. Peter Björnberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but William Nordkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. William Nordkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Peter Björnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colorado FC's William Nordkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Björnberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Nordkvist. William Nordkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 62nd match minute, Colorado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Bryant to maneuver through the defense. Peter Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Colorado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björnberg came free, but William Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tom Erickson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Nordkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peter Björnberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Alaska Anchorage FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Björnberg couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes of play, Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Nordkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Peter Björnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Nordkvist was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute of the match Alaska Anchorage FC got a corner. Colorado FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this William Nordkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colorado FC! Colorado FC:s William Nordkvist showed great skill when he stopped Peter Björnberg:s penalty. In the 86thth minute of the game Peter Björnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colorado FC's William Nordkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alaska Anchorage FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
