After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Rodrigo Reed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shady Spring FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Reed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Small breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Northview FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Reed came free, but Antonio Small reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armen Mkhitaryan in the 13th minute of play forced Northview FC's goalkeeper Antonio Small to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Rodrigo Reed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Small saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curt Sierra was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, one of Shady Spring FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 20 minutes, Rodrigo Reed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shady Spring FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Reed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reggie Braden scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Small, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Northview FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Todd Berger hit a great ball. Antonio Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Reed in the 38th minute of play. The Northview FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shady Spring FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Magee was the one to do the kick off. Stanford Dias hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Reed's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Antonio Small skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute, Reggie Braden fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonio Small, passed just outside the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Northview FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Reed came free, but Antonio Small reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ernest Magee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Northview FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mohammed Haines hit a great ball. Rodrigo Reed in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antonio Small, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Northview FC's Stanford Dias got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Rodrigo Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Ernest Magee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonso Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Schwartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Northview FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mohammed Haines hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Rodrigo Reed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Small saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Magee in the 88th minute of the match. Rodrigo Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Reggie Braden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Small was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Braden in the 96th minute of play forced Northview FC's goalkeeper Antonio Small to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Shady Spring FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Northview FC.
