After 15 played minutes Woods Cross got a freekick which was hit by Robin Shafer. Alan Hartman's late challenge caught a Conakry FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Hartman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Woods Cross's Alan Hartman got a free kick in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Terra in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deon Biggs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Conakry FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Conakry FC's Jefferson Terra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th match minute, Woods Cross was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Schaefer to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, one of Woods Cross:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Woods Cross. After 32 minutes, Jefferson Terra made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Woods Cross's Deon Biggs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Jefferson Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Deon Biggs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deon Biggs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Czekaj went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Kelly Hawkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Jefferson Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deon Biggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernie Alden was the one to do the kick off. Deon Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelly Hawkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Conakry FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
