After a rather tough play, Phoenix Suns Atletic's Gustavo Blair got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Hector Boyles came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Los Narcos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Boyles couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Blair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Blair during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Phoenix Suns Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Blair. Juan Hawkins took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Burger. Bill Burger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Juan Hawkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bill Burger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Lemon kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Darnell McCoy made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gustavo Blair sent off a good shot on target. If Gustavo Blair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Ben Huntley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Darnell McCoy. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 38th minute, Murray Teague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Suns Atletic's zone, Lawrence Casa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Burger came out of the goal and Lawrence Casa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Juan Hawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Narcos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Hawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bill Burger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Blair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Phoenix Suns Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Shockley to maneuver through the defense. Kraig Samuel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Murray Teague took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darnell McCoy. Los Narcos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Phoenix Suns Atletic's Bill Burger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Hawkins in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Los Narcos FC got a corner. Phoenix Suns Atletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dávid Jónás ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Brad Bateman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bill Burger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Boyles, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bill Burger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quentin Lemon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 75 minute of play. After 77 minutes, Juan Hawkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Narcos FC and the Phoenix Suns Atletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Hawkins hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Phoenix Suns Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Huntley to maneuver through the defense. Hector Boyles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Burger having to interfere. Murray Teague charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murray Teague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murray Teague kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Phoenix Suns Atletic's goalkeeper Bill Burger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lawrence Casa. In the 94th match minute, Phoenix Suns Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murray Teague to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dávid Jónás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Narcos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Jónás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bill Burger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Los Narcos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Phoenix Suns Atletic throughout the match.
