The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Airmont AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Milan Knapp hit a great ball. Rico Lloyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Sands in the 16th minute of the match. Shawn Ashby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Fox, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ernesto Fox's late challenge caught a American Top Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Fox helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Airmont AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Fox. Rico Lloyd was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Boyd Delgado. A collision led to Airmont AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 洪景诚 hit a great ball. Rico Lloyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boyd Delgado went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Robert Sands left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Top Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Sands was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, 洪景诚 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, 洪景诚 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Airmont AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Top Team the free kick. Rico Lloyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Sands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rico Lloyd came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by American Top Team's Lorenzo Ellis. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Ellis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Airmont AFC's zone, Robert Sands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rico Lloyd came out of the goal and Robert Sands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Ernesto Fox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airmont AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Fox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 played minutes Airmont AFC got a freekick which was hit by 洪景诚. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 80th minute of play forced Airmont AFC's goalkeeper Rico Lloyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Robert Sands who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Airmont AFC's Rico Lloyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Ellis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rico Lloyd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Morgan Wilkerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Fox could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Shawn Ashby made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Airmont AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aidan Hahn to maneuver through the defense. American Top Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
