The supporters of Astrologer FC booed when Newark Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as Jessie Ware kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucien Moss. That made the score 5-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Newark Athletic Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oren Grady fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Richie Arnold made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Richie Arnold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Newark Athletic Club's Lucien Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Arnold in the 73rd minute of play. Lucien Moss came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Astrologer FC's Oren Grady. But to his dismay, Oren Grady quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Richie Arnold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Newark Athletic Club defense, Jessie Ware kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucien Moss. The Newark Athletic Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucien Moss should have stopped the shot. In the 84th match minute, Newark Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ned Reed to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Richie Arnold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Moss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes, Terence Gale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newark Athletic Club and the Astrologer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Richie Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Luther Story ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Moss was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Lucien Moss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Grady in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Astrologer FC fully deserved thier win.
