Spectators: 7910 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 160) Anton Best started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save American Top Team from getting a goal against them. Colonie FC's Lonnie Blankenship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 5th minute of play. Shawn Ashby came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Colonie FC's Anton Best. But to his dismay, Anton Best quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anton Best took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shawn Ashby. Shawn Ashby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Mojsiewicz in the 15th minute of play. Lonnie Blankenship showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Wilkerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Winford Craig kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Colonie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Wilkerson came free, but Lonnie Blankenship reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Colonie FC's Marshall Hahn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Ashby. That made the score 4-0 after 26 minutes of play. Colonie FC's Lonnie Blankenship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Ellis in the 31st minute of play. When American Top Team's Lorenzo Ellis in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colonie FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 played minutes Colonie FC got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Scales. Morgan Wilkerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Robert Sands who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colonie FC's Lonnie Blankenship was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Boyd Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. American Top Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colonie FC the free kick. Boyd Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of American Top Team booed when Colonie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedric Scales didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Robert Sands ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lonnie Blankenship was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Robert Sands made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Colonie FC's Marshall Hahn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shawn Ashby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Lonnie Blankenship made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 59th minute. Lonnie Blankenship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Sands in the 67th minute of play. Antony Mooney scored 6-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shawn Ashby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Best in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Ashby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lonnie Blankenship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Sands in the 76th minute of play. Lonnie Blankenship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Ellis in the 79th minute of play. Shawn Ashby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Mooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Shawn Ashby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Best in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colonie FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charles Eason was slow to take the kick. During this time American Top Team's players had a chance to rest. Olaf Mojsiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Mojsiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Colonie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Mojsiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, Colonie FC's Antony Mooney made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shawn Ashby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colonie FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of American Top Team for a fine match.
