Arno Trenkel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Weston Rader went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Weston Rader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Karl Corbett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Carlo van der Schans made a huge save. In the 24th minute of the game Stevie Baker made a throw-in which Shelby Larson played forward. Claudio Sutherland hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Weston Rader in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arno Trenkel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Weston Rader struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Arno Trenkel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacific Richmond AFC. Arno Trenkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weston Rader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bilbao Atletic FC's Osvaldo Rowe got a free kick in the 36th minute. Arno Trenkel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weston Rader in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Weston Rader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arno Trenkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Weston Rader was the one to do the kick off. Geoff Ruffin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. Pedro Joyce didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Bilbao Atletic FC's Vance Santos got a free kick in the 59th minute. Henrik Vestlund hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pacific Richmond AFC's Weston Rader in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arno Trenkel was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bilbao Atletic FC through an amazing save. After 86 minutes Bilbao Atletic FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edip Özaltuğ who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pacific Richmond AFC's corner Edip Özaltuğ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arno Trenkel quite easily take care of the ball. Henrik Vestlund took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo van der Schans. Carlo van der Schans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 91 minutes into the match, Pacific Richmond AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Crabtree came free, but Carlo van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weston Rader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arno Trenkel having to interfere. Bilbao Atletic FC's Arno Trenkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weston Rader in the 96th minute of play.
