Elkhorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aírton Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elkhorn's Tad Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor de Barros in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Elkhorn's Dan Ochoa got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Joyce in the 15th minute of play forced Sajokia's goalkeeper Miomir Knežević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elkhorn's Tad Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Bruyninckx in the 20th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Gavin Joyce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miomir Knežević. Gavin Joyce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Elkhorn's Tad Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Mayes in the 40th minute of play. Nestor de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tad Duff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miomir Knežević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Joyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiaan Bruyninckx got free with Tad Duff in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sajokia booed when Elkhorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trenton Ross didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Bruyninckx came free, but Tad Duff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Sajokia got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Oliver. In the 72nd minute Elkhorn were awarded a corner. Bryant Mobley went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th match minute, Sajokia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiaan Bruyninckx to maneuver through the defense. Miomir Knežević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Joyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tad Duff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Mayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tad Duff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sajokia's D.J. Gaston was substituted for Deshawn Ash. Sajokia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
