The audience thought a goal was coming when Kory Leal got free with Raúl Berger in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Allen Bellamy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl Berger. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Kory Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ted Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Joey Bishop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raúl Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 27th match minute, Club Internacional Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Dorsey to maneuver through the defense. Joey Bishop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Berger having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Cuevas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. Delmont's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 45 minutes into the match, Anton Cuevas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raúl Berger, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kory Leal to make the kick off. Club Internacional Miami's Raúl Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Ao Yu in the 56th minute of play. Raúl Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kory Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jiang Ao Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Internacional Miami's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
