Osvaldo Rowe kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kory Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arno Trenkel was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 7th minute Kory Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arno Trenkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Allen Bellamy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delmont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arno Trenkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Bellamy in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delmont's Jiang Ao Yu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bilbao Atletic FC's Jeramy Colbert got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Cuevas scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arno Trenkel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Bilbao Atletic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Cuevas came free, but Arno Trenkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmont's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joey Bishop in the 21st minute. Arno Trenkel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kory Leal's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Bilbao Atletic FC's Arno Trenkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Ao Yu in the 28th minute of play. Kory Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Kelly Webster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeramy Colbert to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Delmont booed when Bilbao Atletic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Corbett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kory Leal in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arno Trenkel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arno Trenkel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ted Siggesson sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Bilbao Atletic FC got a freekick which was hit by Kelly Webster. Arno Trenkel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joey Bishop. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bilbao Atletic FC's goalkeeper Arno Trenkel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delmont were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Bilbao Atletic FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joey Bishop took the corner. Delmont's Joey Bishop was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arno Trenkel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute, Henrik Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jiang Ao Yu put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arno Trenkel. 75 minutes into the game, Henrik Vestlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Dominik Banaszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allen Bellamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Arno Trenkel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arno Trenkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kory Leal in the 85th minute of play. Arno Trenkel came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Delmont's Jiang Ao Yu. But to his dismay, Jiang Ao Yu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. When the match was over Delmont could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bilbao Atletic FC throughout the match.
