Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Meng Feng Wei made the kick off which started today's match. Deshawn Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Sandoval having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dexter Ogden in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurence Sandoval saved Hazardous Hornets from getting behind. The supporters of Houston Fire F.C. booed when Hazardous Hornets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clinton Morin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bernie Waldron came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Houston Fire F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernie Waldron couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Deshawn Steiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Sandoval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Hazardous Hornets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meng Feng Wei to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Bernie Waldron notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hazardous Hornets's Laurence Sandoval. Laurence Sandoval was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurence Sandoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Waldron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bernie Waldron sped through Hazardous Hornets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laurence Sandoval. After having played for 30 minutes, Bernie Waldron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houston Fire F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernie Waldron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dexter Ogden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Sandoval having to make a save. Bernie Waldron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hazardous Hornets getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jamar Herring hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Waldron in the 37th minute of play forced Hazardous Hornets's goalkeeper Laurence Sandoval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hazardous Hornets's Laurence Sandoval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Escobedo in the 40th minute of play. Houston Fire F.C.'s Dexter Ogden got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Dexter Ogden made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Sandoval. Hazardous Hornets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 48 minutes into the match, Hazardous Hornets's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Waldron came free, but Laurence Sandoval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernie Waldron to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Dexter Ogden got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laurence Sandoval was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dexter Ogden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurence Sandoval stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernie Waldron's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Deshawn Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Sandoval having to interfere. Dexter Ogden struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Laurence Sandoval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Houston Fire F.C.. In the 59th minute, Bernie Waldron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurence Sandoval was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Deshawn Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Sandoval having to interfere. Jamar Herring kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hazardous Hornets's Clinton Morin got a free kick in the 64th minute. Deshawn Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Sandoval having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Hazardous Hornets got a freekick which was hit by Clinton Morin. Bernie Waldron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Houston Fire F.C.'s Bernie Waldron got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurence Sandoval showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Waldron, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Blake Rice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddy Krueger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Anson Anthony tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houston Fire F.C. played a much better game than Hazardous Hornets and deserved their victory. The Hazardous Hornets players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
