Hector Solis struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Philip McNair didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Charleston FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilber Kyle in the 10th minute of play forced Team NCIS's goalkeeper Philip McNair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes in the game, Rich Dozier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Truman Hinson having to interfere. Truman Hinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Dozier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rich Dozier came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Team NCIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Dozier couldn't finish the play. The supporters of South Charleston FC booed when Team NCIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Cohen didn't get a good kick on the ball. South Charleston FC's Truman Hinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chase Jordan in the 24th minute of play. The wind increased when Jefferson Norton made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Team NCIS's zone, Wilber Kyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip McNair came out of the goal and Wilber Kyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes of play Team NCIS's Daren Macias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Team NCIS's Daren Macias got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jefferson Norton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Philip McNair made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Hugh Park was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Charleston FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team NCIS the free kick. Rich Dozier scored 1-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Truman Hinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Croft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Truman Hinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilber Kyle's late challenge caught a Team NCIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilber Kyle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Wilber Kyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Team NCIS's Philip McNair got control of the ball when Jefferson Norton tried to sneak it across the goal line. South Charleston FC's Truman Hinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Croft in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in South Charleston FC's zone, Nigel Croft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Truman Hinson came out of the goal and Nigel Croft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. South Charleston FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilber Kyle in the 87th minute. The corner led South Charleston FC's Wilber Kyle to fire away a dangerous shot which Philip McNair despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, South Charleston FC's Wilber Kyle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip McNair made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Team NCIS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing South Charleston FC to leave the ground with a draw.
