In the 9th minute Jack Huang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lane Moses saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Schumacher's late challenge caught a North Cape May's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Schumacher helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cali Pumas FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Harry Schumacher hit a great ball. From a short distance, Cali Pumas FC's Jack Huang, in the 15th minute, tried to place the ball behind Lane Moses, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Tyrell Allison hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jack Huang took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lane Moses. Lane Moses dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, one of North Cape May:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Cape May. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Huang in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lane Moses saved North Cape May from getting behind. Jonah Parson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Sterling Bentley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lane Moses made a huge save. Vincenzo Serrano charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincenzo Serrano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, North Cape May was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincenzo Serrano to maneuver through the defense. Lane Moses stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Huang's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Jack Huang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lane Moses was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After having played for 54 minutes, Harry Schumacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cali Pumas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Schumacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Jack Huang made a precise shot to the right of Lane Moses. North Cape May's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Tyrell Allison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Cape May's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cali Pumas FC the free kick. After 60 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Allison. The Cali Pumas FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Cali Pumas FC's Sterling Bentley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jack Huang put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lane Moses. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Sterling Bentley sped through North Cape May's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lane Moses. The supporters of North Cape May booed when Cali Pumas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bronson Tang didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cali Pumas FC's Isidro Humphries got control of the ball when Tomas Fugate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Schumacher took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lane Moses. Lane Moses dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 93 minutes into the game, Tyron Potter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Cali Pumas FC booed when North Cape May was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyron Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Harry Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lane Moses saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cali Pumas FC fully deserved thier win.
