The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darin Bruner made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Fresnos AFC's Oren Brewer. When Braulio Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Los Fresnos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Bordat couldn't finish the play. Chris Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Bordat, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Braulio Bordat sped through Phoenixsun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chris Valle. After 23 minutes of play, Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chris Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Los Fresnos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Los Fresnos AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eldon Triplett hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Braulio Bordat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Fresnos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 43rd minute Rocco Cameron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Phoenixsun defense, Braulio Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chris Valle. The Phoenixsun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chris Valle should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rocco Cameron to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Braulio Bordat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chris Valle was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Braulio Bordat let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 56th minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. After 60 played minutes Rocco Cameron rounded Phoenixsun's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Chris Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Bordat, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenixsun's goalkeeper Chris Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Braulio Bordat made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Phoenixsun's Chris Valle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Darin Bruner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chris Valle. That made the score 0-10 after 70 minutes of play. Braulio Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chris Valle having to make a save. With a little luck, Phoenixsun's Chris Valle got control of the ball when Braulio Bordat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Valle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. 82 minutes into the match, Braulio Bordat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chris Valle. Phoenixsun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Bordat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Chris Valle was a little too slow when Braulio Bordat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-13. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Braulio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rocco Cameron took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Chris Valle to make any attempt to save it. Los Fresnos AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
