Inter Miami's Riley Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Jorgensen in the 33rd minute of play. After 40 played minutes Mila Doce got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Amos. In the 43rd minute, Dwight Krause hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Davis Mabry hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Nichols was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Riley Moss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Riley Moss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Boyd Carpenter hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Riley Moss was a little too slow when Lionel Cronin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-9. Riley Moss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devin Jorgensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mila Doce booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwight Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Diego Burch hit a great ball. Mila Doce's Devin Jorgensen got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mila Doce played a much better game than Inter Miami and deserved their victory. The Inter Miami players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
