In the 8th minute, Marinus Bonato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Braulio Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Ojeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brillion's Marcelo Ojeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Bordat in the 14th minute of play. Marcelo Ojeda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Ojeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match, Salvatore Hartley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dwayne Woodward saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Ojeda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Bordat went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rocco Cameron made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brillion's goalkeeper Marcelo Ojeda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Ojeda. That made the score 1-6 after 52 minutes of play. The supporters of Los Fresnos AFC booed when Brillion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Czysta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Ojeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Cameron in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Braulio Bordat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Ojeda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Bordat got free with Marcelo Ojeda in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Braulio Bordat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Fresnos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Dwayne Woodward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinus Bonato in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocco Cameron in the 77th minute of play forced Brillion's goalkeeper Marcelo Ojeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, John Davison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Bordat got free with Marcelo Ojeda in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Ojeda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Bordat in the 85th minute. Salvatore Hartley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Los Fresnos AFC's Steve Snyder got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Brillion's Salvatore Hartley in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
