But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro De Gracia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chivas USA booed when Futabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeMarcus Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chivas USA had played much better football throughout.
