In the 20th match minute, Kathleen AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathaniel Waters to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Kathleen AFC's Thanh Crabtree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dexter Post made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Zapata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dexter Post was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
