Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernie Mathis started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Inter Miami's Riley Moss got control of the ball when Raymond Mullins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lane Moses having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Hood in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lane Moses prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Diego Burch put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lane Moses. Tyrell Allison hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Diego Burch took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lane Moses. Lane Moses dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st minute of the match, Bernie Mathis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Riley Moss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Riley Moss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raymond Mullins in the 24th minute. Nicky Nichols struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lane Moses didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. After 31 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by Scotty Worthington. After a rather tough play, North Cape May's Theo Crum got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 38 minutes, Rodolfo Hood made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. North Cape May's Lane Moses tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicky Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicky Nichols was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Nichols was the one to do the kick off. Scotty Worthington tried in the 51st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Lane Moses a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-5. A collision led to North Cape May getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Theo Crum hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicky Nichols in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lane Moses prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 60 minutes, Rodolfo Hood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Cape May's Lane Moses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Nichols in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Diego Burch made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lane Moses was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Burch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lane Moses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lane Moses showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Burch, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 81 in the game by Diego Burch from a close distance when the talented Lane Moses managed to make a qualified save. North Cape May's players were relieved. In the 82nd minute, Gregory Ledford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riley Moss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Mullins in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bennett Petersen hit a great ball. Rodolfo Hood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nicky Nichols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Burch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lane Moses stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Hood's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Nicky Nichols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lane Moses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter Miami's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
