Brillion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Hartley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dursun Ali Arısal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinus Bonato in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chivas USA's Raimundo Garci got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Zachary Chowaniec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dursun Ali Arısal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 13 in the game by Salvatore Hartley from a close distance when the talented Dursun Ali Arısal managed to make a qualified save. Chivas USA's players were relieved. Marinus Bonato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Arısal having to interfere. Dursun Ali Arısal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 88thth minute of the game Salvatore Hartley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivas USA's Dursun Ali Arısal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Brillion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Brillion walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
