The crowd rose to their feet as Stan Craft kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tom Kyle. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Markus Bachman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eldon Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Kyle made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Quinton Rivers sent off a good shot on target. Tom Kyle was a little too slow when Len McAllister got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. Tom Kyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len McAllister in the 34th minute of play. Markus Bachman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Keene in the 37th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Scum Utd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Banfield FI:s goal. In the 41st minute of the game, Banfield FI got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Len McAllister got free with Tom Kyle in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Bernal to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Bernal during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Scum Utd's Ali Bernal got a free kick in the 50th minute. The supporters of Banfield FI booed when Scum Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Keene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Kyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Banfield FI's zone, Manuel Keene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Bachman came out of the goal and Manuel Keene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom Kyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len McAllister in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Len McAllister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Kyle was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Rivers in the 72nd minute of play forced Scum Utd's goalkeeper Tom Kyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Scum Utd's Jacques Gallagher got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
