Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tyrone Marrero kicked off to start the match. Rick Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Discovery Bay's zone, Tony Dewitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Lane came out of the goal and Tony Dewitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terrence Raines kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rick Lane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Dixon in the 6th minute of play. Rick Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Sapalidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rick Lane came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon. But to his dismay, Ernie Dixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Tyrone Marrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rick Lane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rick Lane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thanos Sapalidis went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Quentin Bullard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanos Sapalidis took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rick Lane. Rick Lane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Rick Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Discovery Bay booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Dixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rick Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Sapalidis in the 34th minute of the match. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Boca Juniors's Thanos Sapalidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Vitinho Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Urmanski kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rick Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Sapalidis in the 41st minute of play forced Discovery Bay's goalkeeper Rick Lane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Quentin Bullard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Rick Lane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rick Lane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The Discovery Bay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boca Juniors were winning 0-8.

55 minutes into the match, Discovery Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Dixon came free, but Rick Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rick Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darrel McCauley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Thanos Sapalidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Rick Lane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitinho Dinizs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Rick Lane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Discovery Bay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Thanos Sapalidis scored to the left of an out of position Rick Lane, making the score, 0-11. Rick Lane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neil Kemp went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. If Tyrone Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Neil Kemp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Jason Stuart replaced Thanos Sapalidis. 85 minutes into the game, Cyryl Karpinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Rick Lane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Ernie Dixon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. Jason Stuart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rick Lane came out and tried to block the shot, but Jason Stuart slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 93rd minute. Discovery Bay's Rick Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Discovery Bay.
