Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Connor Gee started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Banfield FI's Len McAllister made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merlin Jarrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Westville's Merlin Jarrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Craft in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Len McAllister put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Merlin Jarrett. Merlin Jarrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len McAllister in the 16th minute of play. Virgilio Cowan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jarrett having to interfere. Merlin Jarrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Len McAllister's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Banfield FI got a corner. Westville's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maurício Roriz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Maurício Roriz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Westville's Merlin Jarrett did a great save. Merlin Jarrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Len McAllister's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Len McAllister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jarrett having to interfere. The supporters of Banfield FI booed when Westville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Chapman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Westville's goal looked a bit too open when Quinton Rivers came free, but Merlin Jarrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merlin Jarrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stan Craft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Len McAllister put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Merlin Jarrett. Connor Gee charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Connor Gee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Connor Gee hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Len McAllister struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Merlin Jarrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banfield FI. The Westville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Banfield FI were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Len McAllister to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Bachman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Gee, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Westville's Merlin Jarrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Westville from getting a goal against them. Len McAllister's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Merlin Jarrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Len McAllister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Merlin Jarrett made a huge save. In the 64th minute of the match Banfield FI got a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Gee in the 69th minute of play forced Banfield FI's goalkeeper Markus Bachman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Connor Gee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Markus Bachman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quinton Rivers struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Merlin Jarrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banfield FI. The audience thought a goal was coming when Len McAllister got free with Merlin Jarrett in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Allen Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merlin Jarrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurício Roriz in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Len McAllister made a precise shot to the right of Merlin Jarrett. Westville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinton Rivers got free with Merlin Jarrett in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Banfield FI's Len McAllister in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westville's goalie prevented a goal. Banfield FI played a much better game than Westville and deserved their victory. The Westville players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
