Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Corey Childers got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Corey Childers notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Scum Utd's Tom Kyle. Tom Kyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Terrence Raines kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Manuel Keene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scum Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Keene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Discovery Bay's Daron Madden got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Everett Burke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scum Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everett Burke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Discovery Bay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Urmanski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darrel McCauley got free with Tom Kyle in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Eldon Potts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rick Lane was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Discovery Bay's zone, Eldon Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Lane came out of the goal and Eldon Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Discovery Bay's Terrence Raines got a free kick in the 38th minute. Everett Burke struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rick Lane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scum Utd. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eldon Potts sped through Discovery Bay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rick Lane. Eldon Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Lane having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eldon Potts to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Scum Utd's Manuel Keene sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rick Lane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Discovery Bay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Eldon Potts scored to the left of an out of position Rick Lane, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eldon Potts in the 57th minute of play forced Discovery Bay's goalkeeper Rick Lane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scum Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Everett Burke in the 58th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Lamar Eldridge advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 58th minute. Eldon Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rick Lane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Corey Childers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Kyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Owen Rush hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Darrel McCauley came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Discovery Bay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrel McCauley couldn't finish the play. Eldon Potts didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 67th minute. Scum Utd's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 71st minute, Eldon Potts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rick Lane was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Eldon Potts capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eldon Potts really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Rick Lane came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Scum Utd's Eldon Potts. But to his dismay, Eldon Potts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Discovery Bay's Rick Lane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Discovery Bay from getting a goal against them. After 83 minutes, Eldon Potts made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. Discovery Bay's Rick Lane tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Darrel McCauley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Kyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Kyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corey Childers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Scum Utd got a freekick which was hit by Owen Rush. The Discovery Bay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scum Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
