Spectators: 8451 (Terracing: 6339, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 169) Lake Mohawk FC's Jared Cotton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.C. Barker having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Wellford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marty Bassett. J.C. Barker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Gold in the 8th minute of the match. J.C. Barker came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Lake Mohawk FC's Wilson Gold. But to his dismay, Wilson Gold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Barker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jared Cotton. After a rather tough play, Wellford AFC's Walker Pugh got a free kick in the 12th minute. J.C. Barker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jared Cotton in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Gold in the 16th minute of play forced Wellford AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Barker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Karl Singer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of J.C. Barker. The goal made the score 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Ferreira came free, but J.C. Barker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. J.C. Barker was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Wilson Gold capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Gold really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. J.C. Barker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Shayne Garland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Barker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Preston Ferreira. Davis Mabry charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davis Mabry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Lake Mohawk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Mabry to maneuver through the defense. Tomas McGrath hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Shayne Garland made the kick off in the second half. Shayne Garland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Gold in the 57th minute of play forced Wellford AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Barker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jared Cotton came free, but J.C. Barker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 60 minutes on the clock, Madars Uchiha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Wellford AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lake Mohawk FC:s goal. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Wilson Gold sped through Wellford AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of J.C. Barker. If Shayne Garland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Shayne Garland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellford AFC's Marty Bassett got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Ferreira in the 81st minute of play. J.C. Barker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jared Cotton, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Marty Bassett might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Gherase. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marty Bassett ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucrețiu Gherase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Bassett in the 93rd minute of the match. After 98 played minutes Wellford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marty Bassett. J.C. Barker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Gold in the 99th minute of play. There was no doubt that Lake Mohawk FC were the better team. Lake Mohawk FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
