The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DeMarcus Peoples didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Cronshagen went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Johnathan Stoner hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Girth FC's Allen Stover got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Đỗ Do hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, GKS Łapsze Niżne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Bates to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Timmy Cronshagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Cronshagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. DeMarcus Peoples breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes of play, Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. DeMarcus Peoples was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeMarcus Peoples got control of the ball when Neil Landis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that DeMarcus Peoples narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Łapsze Niżne's zone, Timmy Cronshagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. DeMarcus Peoples came out of the goal and Timmy Cronshagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Łapsze Niżne's goalkeeper DeMarcus Peoples, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmy Cronshagen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without DeMarcus Peoples having to make a save. If Allen Stover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Allen Stover sped through GKS Łapsze Niżne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of DeMarcus Peoples. If Neil Landis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Đỗ Do hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Homer Metzger was the one to do the kick off. When Allen Stover came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Girth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allen Stover couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Girth FC's Neil Landis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. DeAngelo Denton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Emery Couch made a huge save. In the 61st minute Neil Landis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeMarcus Peoples saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Homer Metzger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emery Couch saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. GKS Łapsze Niżne were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Girth FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harvey Burkhart took the corner. GKS Łapsze Niżne's Harvey Burkhart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emery Couch in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Homer Metzger put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emery Couch. Emery Couch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Metzger, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Timmy Cronshagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. DeMarcus Peoples tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Timmy Cronshagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Cronshagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 86 minutes, Đỗ Do managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Đỗ Do was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that DeMarcus Peoples narrowly saved just below the crossbar. DeMarcus Peoples showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Cronshagen in the 94th minute of the match. GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeMarcus Peoples played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Landis in the 96th minute of play. Girth FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
