The supporters of Wellford AFC booed when Jacksonville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Rich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Shayne Garland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Wellford AFC's Nikolas Papadamous threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shayne Garland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ward Reaves kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Costa in the 19th minute of play. J.C. Barker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Costa in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes Wellford AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Douglas Berg who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Zé Roberto Costa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 23rd minute Zé Roberto Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Barker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taylor Wiley in the 24th minute of play. Nikolas Papadamous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauke Storb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 石岚夕 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Barker. Wellford AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taylor Wiley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nikolas Papadamous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shayne Garland, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. J.C. Barker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Costa in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Zé Roberto Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Barker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Jacksonville FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taylor Wiley made a kick off. Weldon Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shayne Garland in the 61st minute of play forced Jacksonville FC's goalkeeper Nikolas Papadamous to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanner Barnhart kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Taylor Wiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The tension between the Jacksonville FC and the Wellford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
