DeMarcus Peoples showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Domingo Slaughter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allen Goss having to interfere. Homer Metzger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, GKS Łapsze Niżne's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrod Castillo came free, but DeMarcus Peoples reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DeMarcus Peoples was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homer Metzger to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Homer Metzger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allen Goss was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Slaughter during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
