Valdosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Oinaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Darryl Sandoval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XOLOS LAS VEGAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Sandoval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Edmund Montano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XOLOS LAS VEGAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdosta the free kick. The supporters of Valdosta booed when XOLOS LAS VEGAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Montano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdosta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saturnino Oinaz 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The XOLOS LAS VEGAS fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when XOLOS LAS VEGAS's Saturnino Oinaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. XOLOS LAS VEGAS's Saturnino Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as XOLOS LAS VEGAS's Saturnino Oinaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blaine Wills. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. Darryl Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Scruggs in the 32nd minute of play forced XOLOS LAS VEGAS's goalkeeper Kristen Sterckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristen Sterckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Scruggs in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by XOLOS LAS VEGAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Randall Scruggs was slow to take the kick. During this time Valdosta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Valdosta's Henry McDonald to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristen Sterckx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, XOLOS LAS VEGAS's goal looked a bit too open when Allen Delgado came free, but Kristen Sterckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Valdosta fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Valdosta's Randall Scruggs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Oinaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darryl Sandoval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valdosta! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for XOLOS LAS VEGAS. Archie Dalton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blaine Wills. 5-1. Randall Scruggs hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Blaine Wills didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when XOLOS LAS VEGAS's Birila Hinojos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Darryl Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Wills having to interfere. After some careless play in the Valdosta defense, Saturnino Oinaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blaine Wills. The Valdosta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blaine Wills should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Oinaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blaine Wills was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 90th minute Saturnino Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. XOLOS LAS VEGAS's Edmund Montano got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Edmund Montano off the ground. Edmund Montano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birila Hinojos in the 97th minute of play forced Valdosta's goalkeeper Blaine Wills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. XOLOS LAS VEGAS had played much better football throughout.
