Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Randall Scruggs started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Denver Burton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Spencer Willoughby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 6 in the game by Randall Scruggs from a close distance when the talented Emery Couch managed to make a qualified save. Girth FC's players were relieved. Emery Couch stood somewhat misplaced when Randall Scruggs came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 10th minute, Van Poole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Landis in the 14th minute of play forced Valdosta's goalkeeper Blaine Wills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Allen Stover suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 14 minutes, Henry McDonald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdosta and the Girth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Girth FC's Kerry Hudson was substituted for Allen Stover. In the 15th minute, Henry McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Antonio Rushing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Timmy Cronshagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Girth FC's Kerry Hudson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Valdosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Berry to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Valdosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randall Scruggs to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes in the game Avery Trevino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Spencer Willoughby. In the 32nd minute, Allen Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute of the match Timmy Cronshagen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blaine Wills showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvar Almkvist during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 37 minutes, Randall Scruggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdosta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randall Scruggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Allen Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerry Hudson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Wills having to interfere. Valdosta's Henry McDonald got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Henry McDonald off the ground. After 48 played minutes Valdosta got a freekick which was hit by Henry McDonald. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Cronshagen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johnathon Peterson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnathon Peterson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timmy Cronshagen took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blaine Wills. Blaine Wills dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Timmy Cronshagen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Timmy Cronshagen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Blaine Wills when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Girth FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Randall Scruggs was slow to take the kick. During this time Valdosta's players had a chance to rest. Timmy Cronshagen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blaine Wills came out and tried to block the shot, but Timmy Cronshagen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 73rd minute. Timmy Cronshagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Wills having to interfere. Neil Landis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Blaine Wills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Neil Landis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdosta's Blaine Wills was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allen Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Emery Couch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blaine Wills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Cronshagen in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Allen Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdosta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girth FC the free kick. Allen Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Valdosta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Girth FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
