Allen Goss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Cronshagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Booker charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Booker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, one of Phyperstars FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Phyperstars FC. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Allen Goss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diego Booker got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Allen Goss. Jerrod Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emery Couch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Del Altman's late challenge caught a Girth FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Del Altman helped the player get up and apologised. Del Altman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Girth FC's Allen Stover made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allen Goss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ron McElroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Couch having to interfere. Jerrod Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emery Couch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Mitch Dunn charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mitch Dunn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Phyperstars FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Girth FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Girth FC's Timmy Cronshagen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Allen Goss. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ron McElroy made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Girth FC's Edgar Sjöberg. Jerrod Castillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emery Couch could save by the left post. In the 60th minute of the match Phyperstars FC got a corner. Girth FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tracy Landry ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Girth FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Neil Landis hit a great ball. Jerrod Castillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emery Couch could save by the left post. Girth FC's Allen Stover got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rodger Emerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Allen Stover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jerrod Castillo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Phyperstars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerrod Castillo couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Allen Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allen Goss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Timmy Cronshagen put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Allen Goss. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Girth FC had won after a very even match.
