With a little luck, Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous got control of the ball when Preston Hardy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Jacksonville FC booed when Milaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwayne Hills didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milaca's Eliseo Maher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taylor Wiley in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jacksonville FC's zone, Dave Aragon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Papadamous came out of the goal and Dave Aragon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Preston Hardy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Papadamous having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dave Aragon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Jacksonville FC's Steven Pollard got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Dave Aragon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolas Papadamous was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Aragon in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Papadamous prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes, Dave Aragon made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nikolas Papadamous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Aragon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Nikolas Papadamous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar McCracken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Preston Hardy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolas Papadamous. Jacksonville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Preston Hardy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lamar McCracken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar McCracken in the 54th minute of play. Douglas Berg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Maher. Milaca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eliseo Maher acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Douglas Berg. Nikolas Papadamous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Hardy, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Lamar McCracken, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nikolas Papadamous was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Preston Hardy took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolas Papadamous. Nikolas Papadamous dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Dave Aragon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolas Papadamous read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Taylor Wiley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eliseo Maher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Milaca's Lamar McCracken in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacksonville FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Healy in the 80th minute of play forced Milaca's goalkeeper Eliseo Maher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milaca were furious when Adam Fulton was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Milaca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Douglas Berg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 89th minute Preston Hardy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Papadamous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Pollard got free with Eliseo Maher in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Preston Hardy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nikolas Papadamous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ross Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Dave Aragon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dave Aragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Nikolas Papadamous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
