Blaine Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Dunn in the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Valdosta's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrod Castillo came free, but Blaine Wills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Mitch Dunn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valdosta's Blaine Wills. Blaine Wills was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Spencer Willoughby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Ron McElroy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaine Wills was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 19th minute Jerrod Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitch Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Valdosta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tuan Sousa hit a great ball. Ron McElroy took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blaine Wills. Blaine Wills dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Blaine Wills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tracy Landry, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Gustavo Kessler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phyperstars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdosta the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Kessler to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match, Spencer Willoughby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Allen Goss was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Valdosta booed when Phyperstars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dillon Sumner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdosta's Randall Scruggs got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mitch Dunn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dillon Sumner made a precise shot to the right of Blaine Wills. Valdosta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When Allen Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdosta's protests and gave Allen Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Valdosta got a freekick which was hit by Allen Delgado. Henry McDonald's late challenge caught a Phyperstars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry McDonald helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Henry McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Valdosta got a freekick which was hit by Lanny Ambrose. In the 60th minute Tracy Landry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dillon Sumner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randall Scruggs in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allen Goss saved Phyperstars FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Scruggs in the 65th minute of play forced Phyperstars FC's goalkeeper Allen Goss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Valdosta's goalkeeper Blaine Wills had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitch Dunn. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Valdosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Cabourne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Mitch Dunn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Blaine Wills was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdosta's Blaine Wills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron McElroy in the 76th minute of play. Blaine Wills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Mitch Dunn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blaine Wills was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Blaine Wills didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitch Dunn went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. When the match was over Phyperstars FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valdosta throughout the match.
