With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Feliciano in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emery Couch saved Girth FC from getting behind. Emery Couch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Feliciano in the 5th minute of play forced Girth FC's goalkeeper Emery Couch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Girth FC's Allen Stover got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Girth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Gold came free, but Emery Couch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emery Couch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Feliciano in the 9th minute of the match. Allen Stovers short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Lucrețiu Gherase to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Preston Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Emery Couch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Franklin Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neil Landis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Gherase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan Feliciano struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Emery Couch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Mohawk FC. After 33 minutes of play, Lake Mohawk FC's Dan Feliciano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emery Couch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emery Couch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Feliciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Girth FC booed when Lake Mohawk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wendell Dickerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Feliciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Emery Couch made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Wilson Gold sent off a good shot on target. Phil Franks made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Preston Ferreira however managed to control. In the 65th minute, Lake Mohawk FC's Dan Feliciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emery Couch. Emery Couch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With an all-out effort, Lake Mohawk FC's Emery Couch threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilson Gold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dan Feliciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 70 in the game by Dan Feliciano from a close distance when the talented Emery Couch managed to make a qualified save. Girth FC's players were relieved. Dan Feliciano didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Lake Mohawk FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Dan Feliciano in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emery Couch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th match minute, Lake Mohawk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Singer to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Allen Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Feliciano couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Preston Ferreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emery Couch. The goal made the score 0-4. After 94 played minutes Girth FC got a freekick which was hit by Jospeh Timmons. Wilson Gold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lake Mohawk FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
