Joaquim Vilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuan Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Vilar ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tuan Sousa made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Domingo Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Canalla de Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tuan Sousa came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Joaquim Vilar. But to his dismay, Joaquim Vilar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Lockhart in the 18th minute of play forced Valdosta's goalkeeper Tuan Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Joaquim Vilar lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Tuan Sousa. 29 minutes into the match, Valdosta's goalkeeper Tuan Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Lopez. A collision led to Valdosta getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Allen Delgado hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingo Lopez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tuan Sousa. That made the score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 37 minutes, Joaquim Vilar made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Valdosta's Tuan Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tuan Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spencer Willoughby hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Domingo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Sousa having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Matthew Medrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Valdosta getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lanny Ambrose hit a great ball. Tuan Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 55th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Tom Adams heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Valdosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allen Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuan Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Vilar's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes, Domingo Lopez made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Valdosta's Tuan Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. El Canalla de Chicago's Justin Raines was substituted for Tom Adams. Domingo Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tuan Sousa having to make a save. 66 minutes into the match, Claude Mueller notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Valdosta's Tuan Sousa. Tuan Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When El Canalla de Chicago's Joaquim Vilar in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th match minute, Valdosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Delgado to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Joaquim Vilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Sousa. Valdosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Vilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Joaquim Vilar struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tuan Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. Valdosta's Tuan Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lopez in the 84th minute of play. Tuan Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Lockhart in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Vilar in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuan Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Joaquim Vilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Sousa. Valdosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Vilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Canalla de Chicago fully deserved thier win.
