Neal Drew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Hyatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute ACC Mavericks were awarded a corner. Jose Bermudez went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jose Bermudez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregorio Green quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gregorio Green was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Van Clynenbreugel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Nerio Lopez de Toro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Green saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It was a well-played corner which Steve Van Clynenbreugel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 25 minutes, Nerio Lopez de Toro made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ARMENIAN 11's Gregorio Green tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goalkeeper Gregorio Green had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neal Drew in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob Hyatt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Gregorio Green managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, ARMENIAN 11's Guy Rispal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guy Rispal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ARMENIAN 11 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guy Rispal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, ACC Mavericks's Jose Bermudez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gregorio Green. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Carioca was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Green saved ARMENIAN 11 from getting behind. Gregorio Green stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerio Lopez de Toro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Gregorio Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerio Lopez de Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
