Spectators: 9228 (Terracing: 6922, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) In the 3rd minute, Cyprian Rosen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boyd Winkler. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vern Wright in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yoel Quevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Caudill to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Gerry Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Russell Hare came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pueblo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russell Hare couldn't finish the play. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Franco in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pueblo FC defense, Wes Nichols kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyd Winkler. The Pueblo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyd Winkler should have stopped the shot. Boyd Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Vern Wright made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Vern Wright took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Yoel Quevedo to make any attempt to save it. Yoel Quevedo was a little too slow when Vern Wright got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Tyrell Houser sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move. Yoel Quevedo was a little too slow when Gerry Franco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-3. Yoel Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime McClendon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon got a free kick in the 70th minute. Boyd Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Nichols, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Recolta Alamor's zone, Jaime McClendon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoel Quevedo came out of the goal and Jaime McClendon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Pueblo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Singleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime McClendon in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ari Willingham. Ari Willingham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Yoel Quevedo made a huge save. If Russell Hare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yoel Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime McClendon in the 94th minute of play. The Pueblo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
