Pedro Paulo Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stacy Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Elliot Mercado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARMENIAN 11's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kirby Metzger was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Knights FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Black Knights FC's corner Kirby Metzger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gregorio Green quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when ARMENIAN 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Barone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Di Rado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Gregorio Green skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Black Knights FC's Elliot Mercado in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliot Mercado in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Green saved ARMENIAN 11 from getting behind. Gregorio Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Mercado in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Green prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Black Knights FC's Elliot Mercado got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, ARMENIAN 11's Gregorio Green got control of the ball when Arturo Di Rado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Drew in the 44th minute of play. Stanton Mueller kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Black Knights FC made a substitution. Lincoln Downey replaced Bartolo Ucero. In the 55th minute, Rodrigo Caracedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Green didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Carvalho went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
