In the 16th minute, Jarvis McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tango en Miami FC's Steven Weken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tango en Miami FC from getting a goal against them. Boleslaw Labus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Steven Weken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denver Huang's late challenge caught a Tango en Miami FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denver Huang helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes empanadas got a freekick which was hit by Denver Huang. 郭政克 kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Garcia in the 26th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Steven Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of empanadas booed when Tango en Miami FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Street didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royce Bachman in the 42nd minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Steven Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lazaro Connor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Steven Weken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute of the match Izydor Trela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Bazo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Baptista saved empanadas from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Bernabe Bazo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Baptista. empanadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Bazo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Humberto Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Paz in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes, Scot Blue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the empanadas and the Tango en Miami FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in empanadas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! 88 minutes into the match, empanadas's goalkeeper Humberto Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miles Person. Izydor Trela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Boleslaw Labus struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Steven Weken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for empanadas. Tango en Miami FC played a much better game than empanadas and deserved their victory. The empanadas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
